The Association for the Healthcare Environment (AHE) of the American Hospital Association (AHA) and NEXClean is proudly celebrating 2018 National Environmental Services and Housekeeping Week (EVS Week) September 9th – 15th.

“Our mission is to promote health and wellness through a clean environment in the medical community, that would not be possible without our dedicated service technicians who live our mission in the field every day,” said Dan Nestor, President of NEXClean. “Everyone at NEXClean celebrates and recognizes all the professionals working in healthcare environmental services for their dedication and willingness to recognize the complexity of the healthcare environment.”

National Environmental Services Week recognizes the extraordinary teamwork required to care for the complex health care environment. The clinical and supporter services teams, who work hand in hand with NEXClean technicians, all depend on the critical but often unsung, role environmental services play in ensuring a high-quality safe patient and resident care environment.

National Healthcare Environmental Services Week is the perfect time for everyone to demonstrate their appreciation for the quality of the work of the environmental services team, the outcomes from that work, and the value delivered to everyone in the healthcare facility.
